What does your Microsoft 365 setup service include?

Our standard Microsoft 365 setup covers tenant provisioning, custom domain verification, DNS configuration (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC), user account creation, mailbox setup, Microsoft Teams configuration, OneDrive sync, and basic security including multi-factor authentication. Larger deployments add SharePoint sites, distribution lists, shared mailboxes, and migration of existing data.

Can you migrate from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365?

Yes. We migrate Gmail history, Google Drive shared files, Calendar events, and Contacts into the equivalent Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, OneDrive/SharePoint, Outlook Calendar, Outlook Contacts). The DNS cutover is handled cleanly so no email is lost during the switch. Typical small-business migrations finish over a weekend.

Which Microsoft 365 plan is best for my business?

It depends on whether you need desktop Office apps, whether you handle sensitive data, and your team size. Most Australian SMBs land on Business Standard (desktop apps + Exchange email + Teams + OneDrive). Businesses with stricter security or compliance needs typically choose Business Premium for Defender for Business and Intune device management. We'll do a free fit assessment over the phone.

How long does a Microsoft 365 migration take?

For a typical 5-20 user SMB moving from Google Workspace or a hosted IMAP provider, planning and migration usually completes over 5-10 business days from kickoff. The actual cutover (when your domain switches to Microsoft 365) is run over a weekend or evening to minimise business disruption. Larger or Exchange-hybrid migrations take longer and are scoped individually.

Do you provide ongoing Microsoft 365 support after setup?

Yes. After your initial deployment we provide ongoing administration, user onboarding and offboarding, license additions and removals, troubleshooting for individual users, and short training sessions to lift staff fluency. Support is available on retainer or on a casual ad-hoc basis — whatever suits your operations.

Can I get a refurbished laptop with Microsoft 365 pre-installed?

Yes — this is a CLS specialty. Our setup process turns on multi-factor authentication, configures conditional access, enables mailbox audit logging, and applies common-sense security baselines.
